The terrorist attacks of 9-11 in the U.S reflect the severe situation of the current global security. Especially for the transport logistics industry, the security issue should be strengthened without delay. As a result, Taicang International Gateway has commissioned the Water Research Institute under the Ministry of Transport to compile the "Security Assessment for Port Facilities" in the early stage of the port construction, and established a series of alert, accurate and effective security measures and constructed “Security Plan for Port Facilities" according to the analysis combined with the current security situation and corporate practice.
